5280 Safety Solutions was built on a straightforward belief: safety works best when it's built with your team, not handed down to them. Based in Aurora, Colorado, we serve businesses across the Front Range and beyond — from large construction and industrial operations to small businesses getting their safety programs off the ground for the first time.

Founder Richard Stone spent years on the enforcement side of OSHA as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer — meaning he knows exactly what inspectors look for, how citations are written, and what it takes to build a program that holds up under scrutiny. Pair that with Marine Corps leadership experience and two decades in the field, and you get a consultant who is direct, practical, and genuinely invested in your team's safety.

Richard is a United States Marine Corps veteran, former OSHA Compliance Safety and Health Officer, and OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer with 20+ years of experience across construction, general industry, and oil and gas. His background combines OSHA enforcement, operational leadership, incident investigation, and adult education — giving him a rare ability to translate complex regulations into practical, defensible safety programs that real teams can follow.
